We’re back! Join us for our third summer in Ryan Heights. Every Tuesday from 12PM - 4PM we’ll be onsite at the Ryan Heights Playground with unique art activities perfect for children and families.

On AUGUST 27 from 5PM - 7PM, we’ll be celebrating our summer programming with PARK PARTY! All are invited to join us at the Ryan Heights Playground for food, entertainment, vendors, community connection, and the unveiling of the brand-new mural that will be in the works over the summer!

This program is offered in partnership with the Ryan Heights Neighbourhood Association.

Word-traiture is a creative practice that promotes kind self-reflection and community bonding through expressive, inventive and fun portraiture. It incorporates your thoughts and feelings in the present moment with multimedia art to capture a snapshot of your being in a fun, imaginative and appreciative way. In this session, you will be guided through the process of creating a word-trait of your own by its originator, eberechukuu.

ARTIST BIO: Eberechukwu "eberechukuu" Valerie Odoemenam is an artist who infuses vibrant scenes with personal narratives. She is deeply passionate about capturing the essence of people through portraiture. eberechukuu has 3 years of experience as an artist and educator through her art practice at Chukuu Studio.
