Since 1996, Myths and Mirrors has provided unique opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience and take part in the arts outside of mainstream settings. Our goals have been to create innovative art, to engender a sense of community identity, and most importantly, to provide a forum for those made marginalized to express themselves.
Everyone is welcome to imagine and create community with us.

Living Proof
Thursdays from 3:00PM-6:00PM* at the Art Gallery of Sudbury (170 Elgin St.)
*Drop-in on AUG 13TH is 6:00PM-9:00PM
A testament to being in the present moment, LIVING PROOF is a time of reflection and creation, with a focus on what makes us feel alive. Folks are encouraged to connect with one another by disconnecting from their personal devices, though not mandatory.

Spilled Ink: Writing Group
Greater Sudbury Public Library | 74 Mackenzie St. | Every Thursday @ 5:30-7PM
A weekly writing group dedicated to the creative development of local writers. Whether you are an aspiring poet, experienced novelist, or looking to experiment in a new artform, SPILLED INK offers a welcoming space for writers of all genres, ages, and experience levels to work on current projects and share feedback. Facilitated by Alexia Cousineau.

MYTHS MANIA
MYTHS MANIA: Celebrating 30 Years of Myths and Mirrors is our 30th birthday party! Join us for a two-day celebration taking place Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12th, 2026, across downtown locations.
We’ll kick things off with the Closing Reception of our retrospective exhibition Art for All(ways): 30 Years of Myths and Mirrors, on Friday, September 11th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at the Art Gallery of Sudbury (174 Elgin St.) The exhibition is open to the public as of July 16th.
On Saturday, September 12th, we’ll be hosting a Community Arts Yardsale from 12:00pm - 4:00pm (location TBD), followed by a Community Meal at the Refettorio (131 Durham St.), and a Zine Fair and All-Ages Show in the evening.
Tickets will be available soon, and as always, if cost is a barrier, we have PWYC/NOTAFLOF options.
