Big news! We’re thrilled to announce that Myths and Mirrors was awarded the Northern Lights Festival Boréal‘s 2016 Jackie Washington Award. Named for famed Canadian blues musician, Jackie Washington, the award recognizes outstanding contributions to arts and culture in Northern Ontario. Jackie Robinson performed at 25 incarnations of Northern Lights Festival Boréal between the festival’s beginning in 1972 and his death in 2009.

Myths and Mirrors began in 1996 and here we are still going strong in 2016! Over the past twenty years M&M has worked with over 10 000 participants in the creation of huge body of collective art work from theatre pieces to public art works to celebrations.
We will be celebrating all this year with memories of past projects, dreaming up new work and celebrations throughout the year!
We are deeply grateful to all of you Sudburians for your continued love and support for Myths and Mirrors. Myths and Mirrors is co created by the people for the people and we look forward to many more years of co creating beauty, meaning and sharing our stories.
All of us M&M folk!
