LGBT Youth Line Awards

Huge congrats to our Project and Volunteer Manager, Aédan, on his LGBT Youth Line award for Outstanding Contribution to Trans Activism. The awards program celebrates the resilience and successes of youth leaders in the LGBT community from across Ontario. Aédan facilitates our Artistes Trans Artistry (ATA) program and recently launched the We Are… Project, a photography project highlighting the contributions of queer people and their allies throughout the community.

Aédan traveled to Toronto to attend the 15th Community Youth Awards Gala in November where he was presented his award by friend and community partner, Vincent Bolt, of TG Innerselves. You can see photos from the event here.

20 Years of Community Art-Making

Dear Sudbury,

Myths and Mirrors began in 1996 and here we are still going strong in 2016! Over the past twenty years M&M has worked with over 10 000 participants in the creation of huge body of collective art work from theatre pieces to public art works to celebrations.

We will be celebrating all this year with memories of past projects, dreaming up new work and celebrations throughout the year!

We are deeply grateful to all of you Sudburians for your continued love and support for Myths and Mirrors. Myths and Mirrors is co created by the people for the people and we look forward to many more years of co creating beauty, meaning and sharing our stories.

With love,
All of us M&M folk!
